About Me

Tom: Tom Laszewski has experience in architecting cloud-based solutions, database design, middleware architecture, software development, leadership, product strategy, and building technical partnerships. He is the co-author of four books, and contributor to a fifth, with the latest book titled Migrating to the Cloud. Tom is currently a Strategic Solution Architect at Amazon Web Services. He helps customers, ISVs, and SIs architect, optimize, and manage enterprise solutions running on the AWS IaaS platform. Previously, he held the position of Director of Cloud Migrations in the Oracle Platform Migrations Group. At Oracle, Tom worked with cloud service providers to assist in their migration of non-Oracle based offerings to an Oracle cloud-based platform.
