Tom is an author, inventor, and tech advisor focused on paying it forward. Immediately after college, he developed and sold the first auto glass software application that integrated with an ERP system. He was early to cloud and GenAI joining AWS in 2012, and advising founders of GenAI companies starting in 2022. Tom’s latest venture is a Heart and Stroke AI-based mobile application to improve patient outcomes after a heart or stroke incident. Tom has co authored five books, and contributed to many others. He is the founder of is Bullshit publications. An entity that publishes books to dispel and debunk myths regarding leadership, health care, Day One culture, self-help, and conventional wisdom. Tom started the Ma Pesch foundation to help under served high school students achieve STEM degrees. This foundation has provided tens of thousands of dollars of scholarships to aspiring technologists. Tom’s interests including writing, learning new technologies, meditation, and experimenting with different eating regimens. Tom’s hobbies include running, mountain and road bicycling, snowboarding, paddle boarding, hiking, and cold-water immersion; anything to get the adrenaline flowing.
